Typical applications for IMC Magnetics aerospace components include aircraft hydraulic directional controls, fuel control systems, landing gear and wheel brake systems and engine bleed valves. For the aircraft hydraulic directional controls, IMC designs and manufactures the solenoid that controls the hydraulics section of the aircraft hydraulic directional control system, which controls all functions emanating from the pilot flight deck.

IMC Magnetics is also a licensed and certified FAA Repair Station, which allows IMC to repair and overhaul aircraft solenoids, solenoid valves, fans and DC force motors. Specifically, IMC Magnetics is authorized by the FAA to repair aircraft accessories in Classes 1 and 2. IMC meets all requirements set out in Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 145.
