These engineers, quality inspectors, customer service representatives, production line technicians and other professionals have made it possible for IMC Magnetics to continue as one of the foremost providers of electromechanical/electromagnetic products and services to the aerospace, defense and commercial industries for over 50 years. In fact, the IMC engineering group has a collective 80 years of experience in the design, development, manufacturing and testing of solenoids, valves, fans and motors.

This experienced engineering team uses state-of- the-art electromechanical design software from the conceptual design phase through each step of the product development process to deliver the best product design for IMC 's clients. Every engineer in the IMC Magnetics engineering group is thoroughly trained in the use of 3D CAD ProEngineer™ software for modeling and drafting of concept products.

Additionally, the engineering team uses Six Sigma design software to optimize design tolerancing, which allows for improved product manufacturability. Furthermore, IMC engineers have the capability to transfer design details directly from the ProE™ Model to the CNC machine tool to be used via advanced Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, thereby increasing accuracy while minimizing errors.
